PhD fellowship in Island biogeography of mutualistic networks in the Anthropocene at GLOBE Institute
GLOBE Institute is offering 1 PhD fellowship in island biogeography of mutualistic networks in the Anthropocene commencing 1 January 2021.
The successful candidate will be part of the Dalsgaard Group within the Center for Macroecology, Evolution and Climate (CMEC) at the GLOBE Institute. CMEC is a center of excellence with a cross-disciplinary research program.
Your key tasks as a PhD student are:
-Carry out an independent research project under supervision.
-Complete PhD courses or other equivalent education corresponding to approx. 30 ECTS points.
-Participate in active research environments including a stay at University of Exeter (UK) with possibility to also stay at University of .Miami (USA)
-Obtain experience with teaching or other types of dissemination related to your PhD project.
-Teach and supervise students.
-Write a PhD thesis on the grounds of the project, including publishing manuscripts in scientific journals.
