Description
Each year the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR) may offer a Zinkernagel Ph.D. Scholarship to an international Ph.D. student who was the highest-ranked successful JCSMR applicant for an Australian Government Research Program (AGRTP) International Fee-Offset Scholarship. The scholarship aims to attract international students of high caliber, with research qualifications/expertise, to pursue graduate research involving a biomedical research project for a Ph.D. degree at the JCSMR
The Zinkernagel Scholarship is named in honor of Professor Rolf Zinkernagel, who shared the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine with Professor Peter Doherty in 1996 for work done in the JCSMR.
