The 2019 Lloyd’s List South Asia, Middle East and Africa Awards are part of the Lloyd’s List Excellence in Shipping Awards – the industry’s flagship awards programme that recognizes and rewards excellence across all sectors of maritime.

The Awards have a range of categories suitable for any successful organization to increase their profile and benchmark themselves against their peers; from large private and public companies through to thriving entrepreneurial businesses, promising start-ups and established SMEs. Any company can enter, regardless of size.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • All entries must be written in English
  • All entries must be no longer than 500 words. Entries above this word limit will be disqualified
  • All entries must be accompanied by a 50-word synopsis of the entry as you would like it to appear on all publicity material
  • All entries must be submitted via the online entry system
  • All entries will be treated as confidential but Lloyd’s List reserves the right to publish positive extracts from winning entries
  • Lloyd’s List reserves the right to publish your 50-word summary of your project
  •  All entries must be based on activities undertaken from July 2018 – June 2019

  • The Lloyd’s List South Asia, Middle East, and Africa Awards are highly regarded within the Shipping industry, winning an award establishes you as the leader in your field. In addition to your trophy and a certificate of recognition, you will receive a winner’s pack which includes your awards winner logo, photos, and ideas on how to publicize your success. You will also receive exposure and recognition through Lloyd’s List and may be asked to provide a short interview on the night to highlight your success.

How to Apply

First Step: Sign up and create a new account here by writing some personal information in order to start your application.

Second Step: Choose your desired category.

Third Step: Complete the form of that category. (The form vary from a category to another).

Fourth Step: Once ready to submit click the ‘save and go to the awards summary’ button at the bottom of the entry form.

Fifth Step: Under the ‘Entries not submitted’ section, find the entry and tick the box next to ‘edit this entry’ and click Submit. (Once submitted, the entry will appear under the ‘Submitted Entries’ section.)

Sixth Step: If you want to submit another entry, just repeat the same process. We wish you the best of luck!
