The Holland Scholarship at Hanze UAS

The Holland Scholarship at Hanze UAS is for talented international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to obtain their master’s degree at our university.

More Details

The Holland Scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. The scholarship is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to do their master’s at Hanze University of Applied Sciences. The EEA consists of the EU countries and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

ALL WORLD COUNTRIES outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Program Period

Two Years.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • Your nationality is non-EEA.
  • You are admitted to one of these full-time Master programmes, starting September 2020.
  • You have never before studied at an education institution in the Netherlands.
  • The grant is awarded in the first year and can only be received once.

Opportunity Cost

(Partially Funded)

  • The scholarship consists of a one time payment of € 5,000. Selected students will receive this in the first year of studies in November 2020.

How to Apply

First Step: If you wish to be eligible for the scholarship you first have to be admitted to the programme itself. For information on how to get enrolled please see Application and (re-)enrolment

Second Step: Admitted students will receive an invitation to apply for the scholarship and a link to Hanze’s Holland Scholarship application form from the programme’s admissions officer.

Third Step: Further practical information concerning acceptance of the scholarship, procedure and payment will be sent to you after selection.
