Description
The Department of Philosophy at Auburn University invites applications for up to two postdoctoral teaching fellowships in aesthetics, beginning the 2021-2022 academic year. These fellowships are nine-month and non-tenure but are renewable for a maximum of four years depending on performance and funding. They carry a teaching load of 3/3, but typically do not require more than one preparation per semester. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong research potential in aesthetics, enthusiasm to participate in the activities of the Auburn Aesthetics Forum, and interest in research collaboration with senior members of the department. Candidates able to advance the department’s commitment to diversity in teaching and research are encouraged to apply. Final appointment is contingent upon funding.
