Graduate Scholarship Program for Excellent Foreign Students (EFS)

Scholarships by Sirindhom Technology Scholarship Fund are available for excellent students from reputable universities of any foreign country to study in a master’s or doctoral degree program at Sirindhom International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, Thailand.

Benefits

  • Cover Tuition Fees
  • full SIIT tuition and educational support fees (full thesis support). TU matriculation fee (600 Baht) TU educational support fees (800 Baht (IT service by TU) + 55 Baht (group insurance fee) per semester). TU matriculation fee will be deducted once from the first payment for the living allowance. TU education support fees will be deducted from the payment of the living allowance every first month of each regular semester.

  • Round trip economy travel expenses, the most direct route to and from Thailand and the recipient's home county (actual expense, maximum 20.000 Baht/student.

  • Health and accident insurance during the period of scholarship in Thailand Scholarship recipients are required to stay at the SIIT dormitory for a period of at least 12 months.

Costs

  • A statement of purpose (At least one page of a statement of purpose) Please submit at least of Statement as a guideline below: - Your general information. - Your purpose in graduate study. - The area of study in which you wish to specialize. - Your special preparation and fitness for study in the field. Your academic background, extracurricular experiences/achievements, and awards. - Any problems or inconsistencies in your academic records. -Indicate the areas that are your weak points or those needed improvement. - The reasons you wish to attend SIIT.
  • Recommendation letter/Reference Letter
  • Two strong recommendation letters (at least one come from an academic instructor/advisor).
  • CV/Resume
  • Valid passport/National ID
  • Photo
  • Recent photograph (1x1.5 inches’ size as a jpeg. only).
  • Official Transcript
  • - Academic transcript of your grades (official transcript or recent transcript). - Excellent academic record (preferably ranked within the top 20 per cent of the class).
  • Test Certificate
  • Certificate of English proficiency test as one as follows (if any): - TOEFL (PBT 400+, or IBT 32+) - IELTS 4.5+ - TU-GET 400+ - TOEIC 500+
