Seymour Schulich Academic Excellence Entrance Scholarship for Students Outside the Calgary Area 2019
The Seymour Schulich Scholarship for Academic Excellence and the Seymour Schulich Community Service / Entrepreneurial Awards are the prestigious prestigious awards offered to undergraduate students at the University of Calgary, Canada on the basis of their high school grades and the first year of the bachelor’s degree program from Schulich College of Engineering in autumn . This scholarship is based on academic merit, and its awards for community service and leadership are based on academic merit as well as contributing to university life, community service and / or entrepreneurial talent.

Is a government research university located in Calgary / Alberta, Canada. The University of Calgary began in 1944 with the Calgary branch of the University of Alberta, founded in 1908, before being established in an independent university in 1966. - Exceptional academic merit(achieves a minimum GPA of 3.50 on a minimum of 30.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms)
- The applicant must have completed high school
- Permanent home address and high school from which they will graduate must be at least 100 kilometres outside the Calgary city centre

Applicants who have accepted the grant receive $24,800. The grant is renewed in the second and third year. The amount of the grant is divided into two equal installments for autumn and winter and is applied automatically to the outstanding tuition fees.
Renewal:
- The Seymour Scholic Scholarship is awarded for academic excellence of US $12,400 or US $18,500 per year in the second and third year at the University of Calgary provided that the student receives a minimum cumulative average of 3.50 for the previous fall and winter and the next two semesters at Scholich College of Engineering.
- The Seymour Scholich Fellowship for Community Service and Entrepreneurship is renewable at $12,400 or $18,500 per year in the second and third year at the University of Calgary provided that the student receives a cumulative average of at least 2.70 for the previous fall and winter and the next two semesters at Scholich College of Engineering.
