The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies is offering two scholarships for overseas students beginning their studies on the BVM&S (Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences) full-time program in the 2019-2020 academic year.

The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, commonly referred to as the Dick Vet, is the veterinary school of the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and part of the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine.

Program Period

5 years.

Note: 4 years for applicants with a relevant first degree.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • Applicants must be liable for the overseas rate of fee.
  • Applicants should have applied through either the Universities and Colleges Application Service (UCAS) or the Veterinary Medical Colleges Application Service (VMCAS) for the BVM&S full-time program commencing in the 2019-2020 academic year and been offered a place.
  • Applicants must not be already on the program.

Note: The Scholarships are competitive and awarded on the basis of academic merit.

Opportunity Cost

(Partially Funded)

  • Each scholarship is worth £5,000 per year and is tenable for the duration of your degree program, subject to satisfactory progress.
