Master of Laws (LLM) Scholarship

The Faculty of Business and Law is offering up to 10 scholarships per year to eligible students who have applied for the Masters of Laws (LLM) program at the Deakin Law School.

Deakin Law School trains the next generation of lawyers and professionals, who are empowered to use legal skills in an array of global careers. The school’s new program is aimed at developing lawyering skills in our graduates as well as making a strong, positive contribution to our communities. The university provides students access to real clients in exciting domains such as entrepreneurship and new business ventures.

1 year full-time or part-time equivalent

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • be a prospective international student.
  • a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the same discipline PLUS two years relevant work experience.
  • IELTS overall score of 6.5 (with no band score less than 6.0) or equivalent.
  • Students will be required to complete an application for the Master of Laws Program and will be selected for the scholarship based on academic merit, professional experience, quality of their application, and interview performance.

Opportunity Cost

(Partially Funded)

  • Fee reduction of $10,000 for the duration of the course.
  • Students required to undertake English at Deakin University English Language Institute (DUELI) will be offered a bursary that covers 5 weeks of English.
