The Dr. Theo und Friedl Schöller Research Center for Business and Society grants research fellowships 

Outstanding researchers from Germany and abroad may apply for a fellowship at the Dr. Theo and Friedl Schöller Research Center for Business and Society. A fellowship at the Schöller Research Center is intended to enable the Fellow to carry out a proposed research project. It enables excellent students to share experiences and competencies to be able to carry their advanced researches.

The program distinguishes two categories of students which are Schöller Senior Fellow for internationally renowned senior scholars and Schöller Fellow for promising early career scholars including post-doctoral researchers and outstanding Ph.D. students.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • Scientific excellence as demonstrated by top-tier publications.
  • Willingness to engage in on-site cooperation and dialogue in Nuremberg.
  • Theoretical rigor and practical relevance of the outlined research project.

Opportunity Cost

(Partially Funded)

50.000 € per Schöller Senior Fellow and up to 20.000 € per Schöller Fellow.

First Step:  Applicants are asked to fill in the application form and send it to the Directors’ Office of the Dr. Theo and Friedl Schöller Research Center within the stated application period.

Second Step: A separate recommendation letter should be enclosed to the application form.
