Faculty of Engineering Excellence Scholarship (FEES), University of Stratchclyde
These scholarships are available for new self-funded, international (non-EU) fee paying students with excellent academic qualifications.
You can only apply for a scholarship once you’ve applied for a place on a full-time course through the University of Strathclyde’s admission process and have been offered either a conditional or unconditional place

- The Faculty of Engineering Excellence Scholarship is only eligible for new self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying students enrolling on a full-time course. Please note that students who receive sponsorship from a government office or embassy are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year.
- The overall grade should be:
- For undergraduate applicants: An average of 75% + (or equivalent) in the high school grades is required.
- For postgraduate taught applicants: A minimum of a 2:1 (or equivalent) in undergraduate degree is required.
- For Postgraduate Research applicants: 2:1 Honours degree, or overseas equivalent, in a relevant discipline.

Undergraduate
Undergraduate applicants will receive a scholarship of up to £4,000 (depending on tuition fees) towards tuition fees for the first year of their undergraduate course. Eligible students will receive a further £1,500 scholarship for each subsequent year of study.
Postgraduate Taught
Postgraduate Taught MSc applicants will receive up to £3,000 towards course tuition fees.
Postgraduate Research
A number of scholarships of up to £4,000 towards course tuition fees for the first year of a full-time PhD are available. Eligible postgraduate research students will receive a further £1,500 scholarship for each subsequent year of study.

- Fill up the application and submit it.

Second Step: Click ‘Apply’ on the webpage. You will be taken to the online application system where you will be asked to complete an online application and to upload your supporting documentation.
Third Step: Submit your application.
Fourth Step: You will receive an email informing you that a decision has been made on your application. You will be asked to log in to Pegasus from Here to view the outcome of your application.
- For Postgraduate Research applicants:
First Step: Choose your programme from here
Second Step: Click on ‘How can I apply’ on the webpage, then click on ‘Apply’. You will be taken to the online application system where you will be asked to complete an online application and to upload your supporting documentation.
Third Step: Submit your application.
Fourth Step: You will receive an email informing you that a decision has been made on your application. You will be asked to log in to Pegasus from here to view the outcome of your application.
Second Step: After receiving your offer letter for your course, apply for this scholarship by completing the Faculty of Engineering Excellence Scholarship application form and send your completed application back to the following email: [email protected]
Fourth Step: If you’re successful, you’ll receive your scholarship offer letter via email.
