Pistes-Solidaires is a French organisation that was created in 2002. Since that time, learning mobility projects have been at the heart of the activities of the organisation! With 17 years of expertise in this field, Pistes-Solidaires supports local organisations to give them the chance to host volunteers. That’s why many vacancies in different fields are currently opened now!
Hosting organisation and activities
The International Relations Office’ mission is to inform students wishing to study abroad and to guide foreign students at the University of Pau. The volunteer will accompany international students in the beginning of the academic year (September and January for Erasmus students) and help them around during the rest of their stay. He/she will help them for the inscriptions to IEFE (French as a foreign language courses) and all practical arrangements of the campus, being the link between the international students and the campus’ administrative services. The volunteer will be able to learn how to implement communication tools facilitating the information on the students’ life (social networks, multimedia tools) and participate in the organization of information seminars, informing the students about students exchange programs. His/her main tasks will be related to the support of the ESN network by the organization of activities: linguistic cafés, excursions, theme evenings.

Good level of French, English and, if possible, another language.
Egypt and other countries not from the Middle East and the MENA region.
August, 28th 2019 – June, 30th 2020 (10 months)
- The volunteer should be interested in international relations, intercultural activities, event organization, communication and foreign languages. Good level of French, English and, if possible, another language. We are looking for a volunteer, who is open and likes the contact with others, and who is autonomous.

- Hosting condition :The volunteer will stay in a studio on the University Campus. He/she will receive a monthly budget for food and local transport. French language lessons will be provided by the university twice a week. The volunteer will participate in an on-arrival and a midterm training. The costs are covered.
