“Baltic-Arabic” is an international seminar with elements of partnership-building activity for to boots cooperation between organisations located in Baltic and Mediterranean countries.
VitaTiim NGO is a non-formal learning centre and a regional representative of Estonian National Agency for Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme since year 2007. One of our aims is to promote non-formal learning both amongst young people, youth workers and people working in formal education, therefore exploring and implementing in our everyday work new methods is important for us. We take active part and support others in participating in international projects like training courses and seminars. We also work in special tight cooperation with local schools and young teachers and promote non-formal methods in educational institutions and support development of students’ key competencies.

- Objectives of the activity:
To develop partnership between Baltic and Mediterranean countries in the field of the youth work.
To explore possibilities for cooperation and provide space for developing future project ideas.
To provide space for intercultural learning among participants in order to bring gained experience and attitude to the local communities and to the youth with whom work participating organisations.
To explore realities of young people and youth work in participating countries in order and be able to answer common challenges within future projects.
To contribute to address the needs of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants and increase awareness about this issue within local communities by increasing sense of intercultural sensitivity and by follow-up activities and future projects, which participants will develop during the project.

Project: 01 May 2019 – 31 January 2019.
Activity (Training course): 03-05 October 2019.
Arrival day: 02 October 2019.
Departure day: 05 October 2019.
- The project’s target groups:
Youth workers either on a professional or voluntary basis who are working with young people on a daily basis or in projects.
Youth leaders and volunteers who works international mobilities such as international youth exchanges or working with youth on the local level.
Youth workers and project managers who work with local and international volunteers.
Selection will be made by the group of t facilitators who will also take into consideration priorities of partners for the capacity building of their organisations.
The program want to select motivated participants who are willing to learn and to cooperate.
The applicants must have the ability to accumulate counseling skills, the ability to communicate effectively, professional experience, personal motivation, speed of response, willingness to implement what they will learn in practice.
- Participants will be accommodated in the hotel Inger in TWIN and TRIPLE rooms with all conveniences.
Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.
- Please keep all original invoices, tickets and boarding passes. Reimbursement will be made after receiving all original documents during the project (if you have electronic boarding passes or after when we will receive them).
