This 2020 ADB-AIM Hackathon provides a platform where you can become part of shaping the new normal. This platform helps to find opportunities to utilize digital tools and technologies to tackle what life will be like in the new normal. We are crowdsourcing innovation from global problem solvers: startups, companies, universities, research organizations, and industry players. All selected ideas and solutions will be provided with access to resources for further prototype development and pilot launch.

Each round spans in a 3-month phase starting from articulating problems to identifying solutions. Participants will go through application, evaluation, mentoring, and pitching. The most valuable solutions will be selected based on value. The hackathon will focus on feasibility on deployment. Selected solutions will get the opportunity to develop prototypes, funded by ADB for pilot testing, supported by partners and specialized experts. The program aims to go beyond spotting solutions to putting together a comprehensive, systematic, and scalable program aimed at producing measurable, sustained outcomes.
