Young Bug Photographer In association with Luminar Bug Photography Awards 2020

Description

This context is one of the 10 categories applied from the Luminar Bug Photography Awards 2020 presented to those aged from 13 to 17 years o;d for enrich their photographing passion and skills. Participants can submit images of any bug and/or bug habitat, taken on any device. They also can have a look at the other category briefs for ideas and inspiration, and they can enter the main category awards, too.

  • Copyrights & Usage Rights
  • All imagery MUST be the exclusive work of the submitting photographer and may not include any element that is the copyright of another. The Copyright for each image entered will remain with the submitting photographer.
  • Number of photos
  • up to 8
  • Nature of creatures in the photos
  • They may ask about the process of shooting and how the insect interact with it and if there is any degree of creatures harm like freezing or using chemicals to be able to take the shoot, the photo will be cancelled
  • One creature for each photo
  • Each photo must contain only one creatures in so the photos include more than one creature aren't allowed
  • Forbidden photos
  • Any photo won or is still contributing in another national or international competition isn't allowed to take part in this competition except free to enter photocrowd contests
  • Size of image
  • There is a recommended minimum file size of 2500 pixels.
  • Safety element
  • It is imperative that images submitted to the Bug Photography Awards do not feature creatures who have come to harm at the hands of the photographer. By submitting an image to the awards you confirm that any creatures in those images were interacted with during the image making process in a way that treated them respectfully and did not result in them experiencing distress, injury or death.

  • All species of vertebrate in the world are allowed.

  • The contest is not allowed for employees, agents of Photocrowd or their families except for the sponsors.
