UNIVERSITY OF REGINA INTERNATIONAL ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP

The University of Regina (U of R) offers this scholarship to provides up to $200,000 annually. $3,000 is automatically awarded to undergraduate students on a Study Permit (an issued document that allows foreign nationals to study in Canada). The scholarship is designated to students who are applying for admission directly from a secondary school (or equivalent) into a direct-entry undergraduate program. Students must have an early-conditional admission average( the overall average of the high school grades) of 85.00%.

The University of Regina (U of R) started as a small residential high school established In Canada in 1911. The College grew in size and, ultimately, became an independent degree-granting university – the University of Regina – in 1974. In 2017, the University of Regina was ranked in the Top 200 Best Young Universities in the world by Times Higher Education. This scholarship is for international students all over the world to take an undergraduate program at U of R in Canada.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • You have completed High School (Secondary School) and are looking for a 4-year degree.
  • Admission average of 85% or higher.
  • Entering U of R on a Study Permit.

Opportunity Cost

(Partially Funded)

  • The scholarship worth up to 200.000 dollars per year. Students who enter the University of Regina with a GPA of 85% or more receive their choice of either $3,000 in tuition reimbursement or eight months of residence at the university in Canada.

How to Apply

All international undergraduate students who apply for admission for Fall are automatically considered for these scholarships based on your admission – no application is required!  Students may only receive one of the scholarships provided for undergraduate international students.

First Step: Fill out the Online Application

Second Step: Pay the $100 CAN application fee. For more information about the ways to pay click here

Third Step: Email us your documents in PDF format to admissions@uregina.ca

  • High School Transcript (Year 10,11 & 12)
  • Front and back page (if there is information on it) of transcripts from additional education after High School
  • Your English Language Proficiency test (Click to see the list of ELP Options)
  • Copy of your passport

Note: Original documents will be required once you arrive in Regina. Please be sure to provide a certified English translation for all documents. The university will contact you by email within 2-3 business days after the application has been received.
