Excellence in Education scholarships

The School of Education and Lifelong Learning is pleased to be offering a number of Excellence in Education scholarships for Master’s applicants who would like to study full-time in 2020-21. Applications will be accepted until 15 June 2020. These will be considered by a panel of academics in the School of Education and Lifelong Learning. All candidates will be informed of the outcome of their scholarship application within 6-8 weeks of this deadline.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

To be eligible for these scholarships you must:

  • Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for one of the full-time Master’s courses listed above starting at UEA in September 2020.
  • Be funding your studies independently – ie students sponsored by organisations funding their fees are not eligible to apply. Students applying for, or expecting to receive government loans, are eligible to apply.

  • The scholarships offer £4,000 fee reductions.

How to Apply

First Step: Apply for one of the full-time Master’s courses listed above starting at UEA in September 2020, from here.

Required Documents:

  •  Transcript(s) for the most relevant qualification(s) you are either currently studying or have already completed.
  • Degree Certificate(s).
  • English Language certificates (where appropriate).
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Résumé.
  • Personal Statement (at least 500 words).
  • All Postgraduate Research applications must be supported by TWO references. At least one of these should be an academic reference. If you are still studying, your academic referee should be your current adviser or supervisor; if your course has finished it should be your last adviser or supervisor.
  • Research Proposal / Research Statement (please note that ALL Research Proposals and/or Research Statements must have been produced by you).
