Maryville College – Full Tuition Scholarship – International Diversity Award

Maryville College offers one full-tuition scholarship to an incoming freshman each academic year, This scholarship will cover the full cost of tuition for each academic year and is renewable up to four years provided that the student meets the appropriate requirements (maintains F-1 student status, completes two hours of service per week with the Center for International Education Cultural Ambassadors Program, and maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA.) Annual increases to awards (above tuition) are not available, The student will have to show that he/she has sufficient funds to cover the remaining cost of attendance to receive an I-20.

Program Period

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • Have a demonstrated record of academic achievement and citizenship.
  • Have a clear plan for being a leader within the international community on the Maryville College campus.
  • Be prepared to encourage others to apply for the diversity scholarship and Maryville College in the future.
  • Must live on campus during the four-year period of study.
  • Show financial need.
  • Demonstrate that he/she has a minimum of $16,500 or a plan to cover remaining cost of attendance.

This scholarship will cover the full cost of tuition for each academic year:

How to Apply

First Step: Submit an application for admission as an undergraduate international student:

Second Step: If you are accepted, you will receive acceptance letter, to secure your place and receive the I-20 form which you need for your student visa application at the U.S. embassy or consulate.

Third Step: Download INTERNATIONAL DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION 

Forth Step: Fill all requirements :

  • Personal information.
  • Essay : attach a 300-500 word essay explaining the following:
    1. How studying at Maryville College will advance your academic and career goals.
    2. Your plan for sharing your culture on the Maryville College campus as part of our Cultural Ambassadors program.
    3. Discuss your financial need and how you intend to pay for the remaining portion of your college studies.
  • Financial need.
  • Financial sponsor verification.

Fifth Step: You and your parent must sign as verification of information.
