There are a number of scholarships for award each year which shall be known as the ANU, College of Arts and Social Sciences Honours Scholarships Apply The scholarship is valued at $5000.

The selection basis:
- Academic merit
- Consideration may also be given to the field of study
- Availability of appropriate supervision
- Reports from 2 academic referees familiar with the applicant’s work

One Year
The ANU College of Arts & Social Sciences Honours Scholarship is a one year scholarship as it is meant for the honours year only.

- Students must be currently enrolled at this University or another University, in a program of study leading to the award of a Bachelor of Arts degree, or in a combined degree program leading to two degrees (one of which will lead to the award of a Bachelor of Arts degree).

- The scholarship is valued $5,000.
- The annual value of the scholarship will be as set out in a formal letter of offer, and will be paid in two equal instalments, one at the beginning of the first semester of study, and the other at the beginning of the second semester of study.
- The University is not responsible to obtain residential accommodation.
