Independent Life for Youth Program | Tamkeen, تمكين| برنامج الحياة المستقلة للشباب
Join 30 young men and women in an intensive internship during which you will learn the Development of Mobile App, work on a project with a team of young people from different backgrounds and learn important life skills.

”Tamkeen” Program is a 10-week free training program for young people aging between 17 and 21 from all disciplines. The grant is provided by ”Bayt Al-Hayat” Initiative and includes professional training in the field of mobile application development, one of the most demanding skills in the labor market today. This program will give trainees an opportunity to work independently during their studies. In addition, the program aims to build a strong character capable of thinking independently and facing life through lectures in philosophy and character- building.

- Receiving a certificate of completion when you complete the program with a minimum attendance of 80% in both tracks and final project.
The program contains two paths:
- Technical track: 14 lectures in the field of Mobile App Development, where you will learn the basics of programming to build mobile applications using the structure of PhoneGap for Android and iOS applications.
- Character- Building Course: 8 lectures in philosophy.

program duration:
12 weeks, two lectures per week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 18:00 to 21:00. The final project will be completed and delivered during the mid- year vacation in February 2019.

The program begins on Wednesday, September 26, 2018.

- You must be aging between 17 and 21 years old.
- You must have a laptop.
- You must provide 6 hours per week for 12 weeks to attend the trainings at the “House of Life” (next to Al-Maadi Metro Station).
- You must allocate some time to perform the required tasks weekly and work on the final project.
- No previous experience is required.
- The program is free of charge but requires a personal interview.
- To continue the program, attendance must not be less than 80% per track.
