“Turkish Airlines (TA) Skylife 3rd International Photography Contest”. The contest is organized by Turkish Airlines, and will be carried out by Turkish Airlines.This contest aims to bring together photography enthusiasts from all across the world through exploration and to invite the entire world to “look for explorations.

The application for the 3rd International Skylife Photography Contest begins on January 15. Organized by renowned international federations of the art of photography such as the FIAP, GPU, and UIP, and the Photographic Arts Federation of Turkey (TFSF), the contest’s deadline for application is August 25, 2019. Open to professional and amateur photographs from all around the world, the contest will reward a gold, silver and bronze medal and honorable mentions on behalf of each federation.

- The selection of photographs will focus on a message of curiosity that bears hope for the future through the discovery of happiness, joy, sadness, hope, nature, the world, the past, and the future.
- Participation to the contest is free of charge.
- All participants must be of the age of 18.
- All photographers, amateur or professional, may apply for the contest. Members of the Executive Committee, Contest Secretariat and the Jury members and TSFS representative, and their first-degree relatives may not participate.
- Photographs processed with certain Photoshop or similar software effects (e.g. water color filter, etc.), excluding photographic treatments such as light, contrast, color, grain, etc. that would not disturb its characteristics, photographs obtained by merging multiple photographs,
and digitally-manipulated photographs will be disqualified. The jury will have sole discretion on this matter. - Each contestant may participate with maximum 4 (four) Digital Color or Black & White photographs.
- Participants acknowledge, declare and undertake that they fully own the photographs they will upload to the web site for the contest, and all relevant permissions are obtained. Any action to the contrary will be considered as a violation of the rules.
- Any intervention or modification by contestants, aiming to mislead the assessment committee by presenting another person’s photograph as their own work will be considered as a violation of rules.
- Contestants violating the rules will be subject to the sanctions provided in the “FIAP Contest Organization Standard Guidelines”
- Turkish Airlines may require the originals of the awarded photographs to be submitted by the relevant participants, with a short side of minimum 2200 pixels.
- Contest photographs must be saved in the jpg/jpeg format, minimum 1920 pixels and a long edge of maximum 3200 pixels, and the size of the files should not be less than 2 Mb and more than 4 Mb.

The contest will present flight tickets worth of:
$12,000 for the first prize.
$6,000 for the second prize.
$3,000 for the third prize.
$1,000 each for The top three photographers selected by the FIAP, GPU, and TFSF
Note: Flight tickets can be used by the photograph artist or his/her first-degree relatives (parents, spouse, children, siblings) for a period of 1 year.
