Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • You must submit SAT or ACT scores to be considered for most of these scholarships. If you take the tests multiple times, submit all of your scores. We use your best scores when we determine your scholarships.
  • All scholarships require you to be enrolled full time in the fall and spring semesters. For scholarship renewal criteria please refer to the Office of Student Scholarships.
  • Scholarship funds cannot be used for intensive study of English as a Second Language.

Opportunity Cost

(Partially Funded)

Varies according to each scholarship:

  • Outstanding Scholar Award Up to $60,000 ($15,000 per year for up to four years).
  • Dean’s Recognition Scholarship Up to $44,000 ($11,000 per year for up to four years).
  • Academic Achievement Award Up to $36,000 *Starting Fall 2019 ($9,000 per year for up to four years).
  • Valedictorian and Salutatorian Scholarships Up to $40,000 ($10,000 per year for up to four years).
  • International Ambassador Award Up to $28,000 ($7,000 per year for up to four years).
  • ELS Ambassador Award Up to $28,000 ($7,000 per year).

First Step:  Submit the Online Application.

(Submit only one application for admission to IUPUI. You must submit the nonrefundable $65 application fee to complete your application)

Second Step: Submit the following supporting documents in iStart 

Your documents should include:

  • Official Academic Records.

  • Proof of English Proficiency.

  • SAT and ACT Test Scores.

  • Financial Documentation (for Visa Purposes).

  • Explanation of Time Since Last School Attended.

  • Clarification of Present Visa Status.

  • Copy of your Passport ID Page.
