The Jacobs University is offering Graduate Scholarships for all applicants applying for the MSc in Computational Life Science, the MSc in Data Engineering and the MSc in Supply Chain Engineering and Management.

Jacobs University in conjunction with Stiftung Metall Unterweser is offering several partial scholarships to students determined to study MSc in Computational Life Science, MSc in Data Engineering, or MSc in Supply Chain Engineering and Management as of fall 2018. The scholarships will cover part of the tuition fee for two years.
In the past two years, Jacobs University has awarded scholarships from the BLG Logistics Group, theBremische Hafenvertretung e.V., the Fritz Hollweg Foundation, the Stiftungsfonds Deutsche Bankand the Conrad Naber Foundation to ambitious graduate students.

  • Citizens of all nationalities are eligible.
  • If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

Opportunity Cost

All applicants are considered for merit-based scholarships of up to € 12,000 per year.

Applications need to include the following documents:

  • Essay (letter of motivation)
  • Curriculum vitae (CV)
  • University transcript in English or German
  • Bachelor’s degree certificate or equivalent (may be handed in later)
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • English language proficiency test with a minimum score of 90 (TOEFL), 6.5 (IELTS) or 60 (Duolingo). Native speakers and applicants who completed their undergraduate studies in English may be exempt from this requirement.

 

Note: Non-native German speakers applying for the MSc Psychologie need to provide a German language proficiency test (Goethe-Zertifikat level C1, TestDaF level 4 or DSH level 2).
