Program Period

For Master’s Program: 18 – 24 months.

For PhD Program: 36 – 48 months.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

For Master’s Program:

Prepare the following documents:

  1. Curriculum Vitae.
  2. Original copy of bachelor transcript in right applied major.
  3. Original copy of bachelor certificate in right applied major.
  4. Statement of purpose. (500 words)
  5. Criminal record.

  6. Copy of Passport.
  7. Reference Letter of Bachelor’s thesis adviser.
  8. Photograph. (3×4 cm)
  9. Health check report from the official clinic or hospital within the last 6 months.
  10. English Language Proficiency:
  • English is medium of instruction for master program: TOEIC 600, TOEFL iBT 50, IELTS 5.5, PET/FCE 160 (English certificates must be valid for two years from your test date up to the application date) or Proof of bachelor/master program taught in English language.
  • Vietnamese is medium of instruction for master program: TOEIC 500, TOEFL iBT 45, IELTS 4.5, PET/FCE 140 (English certificates must be valid for two years from your test date up to the application date) or Proof of bachelor/master program taught in English language.

For Master’s program in Vietnamese, applicants should have sufficient listening, speaking, reading, and writing ability in Vietnamese. They are required to provide the Vietnamese proficiency certificate CEFR B2 before starting the main courses of the master program.

For Master’s program in English, applicants should have sufficient listening, speaking, reading, and writing ability in Vietnamese. They are required to provide a Vietnamese proficiency certificate CEFR A2 as a graduation requirement.

For PhD Program:

  1. Curriculum Vitae.
  2. Original copy of bachelor transcript in right applied major.
  3. Original copy of bachelor certificate in right applied major.
  4. Original copy of the master transcript in right applied major.
  5. Original copy of the master certificate in right applied major.
  6. Research publications. (all files of published papers)
  7. Statement of purpose. (500 words)
  8. Two Reference Letters. (at least 01 letter of master thesis’s adviser)
  9. Criminal record.
  10. Copy of Passport.
  11. Photograph. (3×4 cm)
  12. Health check report from the official clinic or hospital within the last 6 months.
  13. English Language Proficiency:
  • For foreign applicants apply for scholarship: TOEFL iBT 60, IELTS 6.0, PET/FCE 169 (English certificates must be valid for two years from your test date up to the application date) or Proof of bachelor/master program taught in English language.
  • For Vietnamese applicants and foreign students apply without scholarship: TOEFL iBT 45, IELTS 5.0, PET/FCE 160(English certificates must be valid for two years from your test date up to the application date) or Proof of bachelor/master program taught in English language.

* For Doctoral program in English, applicants should have sufficient listening, speaking, reading, and writing ability in Vietnamese. They are required to provide a Vietnamese proficiency certificate CEFR B1 as a graduation requirement.

Opportunity Cost

(Partially Funded)

  • Full scholarship: support full tuition fee + full accommodation fee.
  • Partial scholarship: 50% tuition fee and 50% accommodation fee.
  • Research scholarship: according to publications for TDTU.
