 Master of Global Affairs – International Peace Studies

The Master of Global Affairs is a post-graduate, professional, full-time, two-year residential degree program within the University of Notre Dame’s Keough School of Global Affairs. The program includes four semesters of coursework plus the summer between the first and second year.

More Details

The program is for students who have at least a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent from a four-year college or university. Applicants are selected on the basis of grades in previous academic programs, professional experience, language proficiency, exam scores, and recommendations. Applicants are asked to write a statement in their application about how the master’s degree will advance their professional goals.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

The following materials are required to apply to the Master program:

  • University of Notre Dame Graduate School Application
  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Statement of Intent
  • Short essay (300 words) for the chosen concentration
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation
  • Transcripts with proof of B.A. or equivalent degree (and an English translation if necessary)
  • TOEFL or IELTS (for non-native speakers of English)
  • Graduate Record Exam (see below for exceptions)
  • Application Fee of $75.
