CIHEAM IAM is one of four agronomic institutes concerning about developing agriculture specially in the Mediterranean area through granting students fully and partially scholarships and other programs from the Mediterranean countries.

Specializations for studying for this opportunity:

-Sustainable Integrated Pest Management

-Land and Water Resources Management: Irrigated agriculture

-Mediterranean Organic Agriculture

Program Period

one year for diploma programe 

two years for masters.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

countries participating in CIHEAM treaty have the priority (EGYPT,  LEBANON, TUNISIA, ALGERIA, MOROCCO, TURKEY) to obtain the scholarship

obtaining 4-5 years of undergraduate studies in Agricultural Sciences, Rural Development, Engineering, or related courses

Knowledge of English language – Intermediate level.

Opportunity Cost

(Fully Funded)

for those with applications rank first in the selection process

the scholarship covers:

  • registration fees (200€/year)
  •  tuition fees (500€/month)
  • travel expenses from and to the country of origin
  • board and lodging in the students’ residence
  • insurance and medical assistance
  • pocket money (170€/month).

(partially Funded)

covering tuition fees and accommodation as long as rooms in the campus residence are available.
