Description

NATO Defense College (NDC) PfP, MD and OMC/PAG Fellowships in Italy, 2018

The NATO Defense College currently offers eight fellowships each year in the field of defence & security policy research related to NATO and its Partners. The objective is to promote research and policy analysis in areas of particular interest to the NATO Member States, as well as to countries that are part of the Partnership for Peace (PfP), Mediterranean Dialogue (MD) and Other Military Cooperation (OMC) / Partners Across the Globe (PAG) frameworks. Since the programme’s inception in 1993, the College has awarded a total of 109 fellowships in the years up to and including 2017.

The mission of the NATO Defense College is to conduct academic studies and research in support of the Alliance’s wider goals.
Number of Scholarships: Eight fellowships each year

Specializations for studying on this opportunity:

-Defense & Security Policy Research related to NATO and its partners.

Required Languages

-A very good level of English language proficiency is required.
-Knowledge of French and/or Italian would also be of benefit but is not essential.

Turkey, Syria, Cyprus, Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • Candidates must have a good working knowledge of English or French and be computer literate.
  • English Language Requirements: A very good level of English language proficiency is required. Knowledge of French and/or Italian would also be of benefit but is not essential

Opportunity Cost

(Fully Funded)

Each Fellow will receive the amount of Sixteen Thousand Euros. This will cover the costs of his/her stay in Rome and his/her travel expenses.
