Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • In order to apply for a Neelam Aggarwal Scholarship, candidates must:
    • Have enrolled on the first year of a new full undergraduate degree programme at Manchester Metropolitan University in the 2019/20 academic year (not distance learning)
    • Have a UK Student Support Number (English, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish students)
    • Applied online to be income assessed by Student Finance
    • Be paying tuition fees under the new tuition fee regime of £9,250
    • Be self-funding. Your course of study must not be externally funded (e.g. through the NHS)
    • Demonstrate financial need. Your household income indicates that you are eligible for means-tested support from Student Finance with a household income of up to and including £42,875.

Awards for The Neelam Aggarwal Scholarship are offered for 2019/20 entry and the Scholarship may not be deferred. Recipients will receive £1,250 per year of study.

  • You must also outline the contribution you will make to Manchester Metropolitan University as a student and what you expect to gain from studying here.
