Ambizione grants from Swiss National Science Foundation

Ambizione grants are aimed at young researchers who wish to conduct, manage and lead an independent project at a Swiss higher education institution. The scheme supports young researchers both from Switzerland and abroad. Scientists holding non-professorial academic positions at higher education institutions are also eligible to submit an application.

More Details

The aim of the redesigned scheme is to generate direct competition for research funds among all young researchers at the same stage in their careers, regardless of whether they are already in position.
The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is supportive of scientific research and costly by the Swiss federal government. It promotes scientific excellence and expects performance to be of the highest quality. It works independently, evaluates neutrally, achieves tasks wisely and acts ethically.
