International Foundation Programme – Trinity College Dublin
The Trinity International Foundation Programme is a 1-year pre-university programme.You will also be guaranteed a spot in a degree program of your choice, if you successfully complete the program.

Trinity was Founded in 1592, It’s Ireland’s leading university and is known today as a leading university in Europe for producing Entrepreneurs. QS World University Rankings also ranks it as 88th in the whole world.
Being part of Trinity College Dublin means you’ll be joining the ranks of Nobel Prize winners, world leaders and award winning artists.
Opportunity Focus Areas:
- Pathway A: Law, Business, Economics, and Social Sciences
- Pathway B: Engineering, Science and Health Sciences
– Students who successfully complete the Pathway A or B programmes and achieve the required grades can go on to study in one of the offered undergraduate programmes at Trinity College Dublin.

- Applicants from around the globe, who have non-EU status and will pay non-EU tuition fees.
- Tawjahiya average grade of 80% or above, including relevant subjects.
- Applicants joining Science, Engineering and Health Science Stream (Pathway B) may be required to demonstrate pre-requisite knowledge of relevant science subjects prior to entry into the International Foundation Programme.

- Several scholarships valued between €3,000 and €5,000 each, applied as a reduction of the tuition fees of the International Foundation Programme.

First Step: apply for the programm at the University (Closing date: 30 June 2019):
As part of your application, you will be required to submit:
- Your transcripts
- Proof of English proficiency (typically IELTS or TOEFL scores)
- 2 letters of recommendation
- A copy of your passport
Second Step: apply for the scholarship (Closing date: 31 May 2019):
Applicants are required to submit the following documents:
- Cover letter outlining your full name, your application number (assigned when application is submitted – IFPXXX) and name of programme you have applied for at Trinity College Dublin.
- 200 word statement on “how I will contribute to our Trinity College Dublin community.” – submit in Microsoft word document or pdf format.
- CV/Resume
Third Step: submit your scholarship application to Dominique Luthringer Email:[email protected].(Subject line: your name + Trinity International Foundation Programme Scholarship).
Fourth Step: You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of scholarship request & awards will be made and successful candidates informed no later than 15th June 2019.
Fifth Step: Decision to accept scholarship is required on 22nd June 2019; the scholarship award will be confirmed with acceptance of your offer to attend TCD and payment of your deposit.
