PhD fellowship or postdoc position at (CEHA) and (CHEP) – University Of Copenhagen
The PhD fellowship/postdoc will be embedded in our Center for Healthy Aging and Center for Health Economics and Policy. CEHA is a cross-disciplinary research group focusing on health and aging. The PhD fellowship/postdoc will be part of a group focusing on social science and public health issues. CHEP is a joint research center established by the Faculty of Health and Medicine and the Faculty of Social Sciences at UCPH in 2013.

Your key tasks as a PhD student at SUND are:
- Carry out an independent research project under supervision
- Complete PhD courses or other equivalent education corresponding to approx. 30 ECTS points
- Participate in active research environments including a stay at another research team
- Obtain experience with teaching or other types of dissemination related to your PhD project
- Teach and disseminate your knowledge
- Write a PhD thesis on the grounds of your project
Key tasks for postdocs are:
- Carry out an independent research project under supervision
- Participate in active research environments
- Obtain experience with teaching or other types of dissemination related to your projects

-Applicants for the PhD fellowship must have qualifications corresponding to a master’s degree related to the subject area of the project and with a specialization in health economics.
– Applicants for the postdoc position must have qualifications corresponding to a PhD degree in health economics, public health or related disciplines.
– A keen interest in questions of aging and a willingness to engage in cross disciplinary research will be central for completion of the project.
Other important criteria are:
- The grade point average achieved
- Professional qualifications relevant to the PhD/postdoc project
- Previous publications
- Relevant work experience
- Other professional activities
- Curious mind-set with a strong interest in aging, health, economics, quantitative analysis and cross-disciplinary research
- Fluency in Danish or other Scandinavian language

- The monthly salary begins around 26.755 DKK /approx. 3.567 EUR plus pension.
