Postdoctor in Chemical Biology-Department of Experimental Medical Science

The Postdoctor will essentially carry out research at Lund University. The primary focus will be analyzing self-organized therapeutics targeting CNS/PNS in animal models, preferentially in zebrafish, but also in other models e.g., insects (locust) and organoids.

More Details

The Chemical Biology & Therapeutics is a multidisciplinary team at Lund University and University of Gothenburg that explore new therapeutic strategies using organic/medicinal chemistry, in-vivo/in-vitro biology, and applied physics. The lab was recently awarded funding for studying in-vivo assembled therapeutics and for an Electronic Neuropharma project (e-NeuroPharma), aiming to address CNS disorders by self-assembled therapeutics. In the e-Neuropharma effort, will develop self-organizing molecular systems that exert both pharmaceutical activity and electrical functionality to explore new therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases. The latter is a collaboration with the organic bioelectronic team at Linköping University.
