The Center for Chromosome Stability (CCS) is inviting applications from both recently graduated PhD students and experienced postdoctoral researchers for fully funded postdoc positions to commence from June 1st, 2019 or at a mutually convenient time later in 2019.

The CCS is an international research center focusing on the role of genomic instability in driving human disease, and has research groups studying cancer, neurodegeneration and infertility.

Program Period

2 years.

The employment is a full time and fixed-term position for 2 years with the possibility for extension.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • Both recently graduated Ph.D. students and experienced postdoctoral researchers are invited to apply.
  • Candidates must have an excellent academic track-record and show evidence of having conducted research at an internationally competitive level
  • Candidates must have an interest in studying DNA repair/replication, chromosomal instability, or a related topic.
  • Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written English language skills.

Opportunity Cost

(Paid)

  • Currently, the monthly salary starts at 33,600 DKK/ approx. 4,480 Euro (April 2018-level).
  • Depending on qualifications, a supplement may be negotiated.
  • The employer will pay an additional 17.1 % to your pension fund.
