In 2009, in awaring of the digital era and knowing that children are facing a multi- media learning environment, Hsin- Yi Foundation established the Hsin- Yi Children’s Animation Awards hopes to improve the quality of short films targeted at children as well as to award talented people who contribute to animations around the world for providing a more diverse selection of good material for children.

– Visual Arts/Fine Arts (painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, video, film making)
Note: age-appropriate animated videos for children aged 3-12.

Note: No nationality restrictions for International Division submissions
Note: 30 minutes or less in length
Note: Format: MPG, MPG4, MOV or AVI file format and Frame Size: HD - 1920x1080 or 1280x720.
Note: free of charge for public screening as necessitated by the awards presentation and promotional activities (30-second clip from the submission for the sake of promoting this event).
Note: provide the film to Hsin-Yi Foundation for a non-profit broadcasts service for people in remote areas such as children and communities.
Note: for any dialogue or narration that is not in either English or Chinese.
Note: International Division Top prize (1): US$2,000 (approx. NT$60,000) and award
Note: International Division Runner-up (1): US$1,000 (approx. NT$30,000) and award
Note: International Division Special Mention: award medal
