Paula and Tony Kinnane Art History Scholarship

The Paula and Tony Kinnane Art History Scholarship was established to support students undertaking undergraduate studies in art history.

The scholarship was established in 2017 and is maintained by the income of a perpetual endowment fund from a bequest to The University of Queensland under the will of Paula Ruth Kinnane, who graduated from The University of Queensland in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

The Scholarship will be awarded to the applicants showing the greatest merit as demonstrated by:

  • Academic achievement
  • Relevant interest or experience in the Relevant Field
  • Any other matter that the selection committee considers relevant to the applicant’s future success in art history.
  • Applicants with a GPA of 5.5 or above, and have completed a minimum of 16 units towards their program.

Opportunity Cost

(Partially Funded)

  • The value of the Scholarship is $12,000 per year. Kinnane Art History Scholarship holders are also eligible to apply for a separate, paid internship at the UQ Art Museum.
