School of Engineering PhD Full Tuition Scholarship.

The School of Engineering is offering scholarships to full-time commencing PhD students who can demonstrate outstanding research potential in an engineering discipline. This scholarship is offered on the basis of academic merit and research performance within the fields of chemical, civil, electrical and electronics, mechanical, material or petroleum engineering.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • To be eligible for this scholarship you must be a commencing student in a Doctor of Philosophy within the School of Engineering at ECU
  • This scholarship is open to individuals who are prospective ECU students.
  • In order to be considered for this scholarship you must have a course application in the ECU system.

Opportunity Cost

(Partially Funded)

  • The scholarships will cover the full cost of tuition and are offered on the basis of academic merit and the research performance.
  • and include the cost of Overseas Students Health Cover up to $10,000 (where applicable).

First Step: Complete a course application for a place in a Doctor of Philosophy within the School of Engineering at ECU via the online applicant portal and include the following:

  • Expression of interest.
  • Research proposal.
  • Transcript.
  • Masters thesis.
  • English competency.
  • Publications.
