Biomass resources have promising potentials to produce a hydrogen-rihc syngas stream for the production of renewable hydrogen. This 3-year PhD project will develop a catalytic reaction system to enhance the production of hydrogen using a novel “three-way” catalyst at a high reaction temperature. The ultimate goal is to provide a unique possibility of hydrogen export for New Zealand.
They are looking for an excellent candidate to fill this PhD position that is funded by a Smart Ideas project supported by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), New Zealand. Strong candidates with a background in chemical engineering, chemistry or physical chemistry, and those who have an interest in catalysis should apply.
