Postdoctoral Researcher in Precision Cancer Medicine

At the Department of Oncology-Pathology basic, translational and clinical research and educational activities related to cancer is carried out. Approximately 300 people from over 40 nations are currently working at the department. About 30 research groups with various cancer research profiles are involved and we have around 110 PhD students. The Department of Oncology-Pathology is responsible for undergraduate courses in Pathology, Oncology and Forensic Medicine for medical students, as well as for Tumor biology courses for biomedicine students and Pathology courses for opticians,with the aim to assign and optimize targeted treatments for individual cancer patients.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • The successful candidate is expected to have a doctoral degree in biochemistry, biology, genetics, biotechnology, medicine or other relevant field.
  • The candidate should be independent and motivated with a documented ability to carry out experimental research projects.
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
  • Have experience in collaborative team science in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Have a Knowledge of cancer biology, precision cancer medicine.
  • Have a Experience in high-throughput drug testing and assay development.
  • Have a Experience in cell culture techniques, especially primary cell models.
