The Sunil Pranlal Sheth Scholarship is kindly supported by Sunil Sheth, and is open to an outstanding full time
Home/EU or International student who is pursuing a postgraduate law course at the School of Law and
Criminology. Candidates will need to complete an application form stating their financial need and academic
achievements to date. The Award will be made on the basis of academic merit and potential to achieve.

Program Period

1 year.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • You must be registered on a postgraduate law course at the School of Law and Criminology during the 2019/2020 academic year.
  • Applicant must maintain good academic standing and attendance record throughout your course.
  • Applicants are evaluated on the following criteria:
    – Academic achievement.
    – Financial need.
    – Personal statements.
    – Recommendations.
  • Must attend the Donors and Scholars Reception or any other event that the Office of Development and Alumni Relations see fit.
  • Must write a short thank you letter to the donor responsible for funding this award.

  • £5000 award paid once.

Second Step: Applying for the Scholarship

  •  Click here to download the application.
  • Please write in CAPITAL letters, writing clearly in black ink and All sections of the form must be completed.

Third Step: Prepare the following documents to be attached to the application form (Supporting documents submitted/emailed separately will be not be considered.).

  • Two letters of reference (i.e. from a tutor).
  • Evidence of your (or parent/guardian) total  household income – one of the following: P60 for financial year ending .April 2019; 3 months of payslips; Benefits letter; Student Finance England letter.
