Simpson Endowed Scholarships for Year Abroad Program in Egyptology 

The Simpson Endowed Scholarships for Year Abroad Program in Egyptology will award both undergraduate and graduate non-degree students seeking to study Egyptology at AUC, with a preference given to those enrolled in U.S. colleges and universities.

More Details

AUC is granting international non-degree opportunities. Students who receive federal or institutional financial aid at their home universities can apply the funds received to their study abroad program costs. Applicants should meet with their study abroad and academic advisors to learn about opportunities for transferring aid.

Program Period

One Year.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • The student must enroll in at least nine credit hours in Egyptology
  • The applicant must write a 1,500-word essay on why he/she wants to study Egyptology at AUC, including referring to three Egyptology courses which he/she wishes to take at AUC.

(Partially Funded)

  • It is to be used for covering tuition and/or AUC housing.
