Sloan Philip Langsdale Scholarship_LBS Sloan Masters 2004 Alumni.
The London Business School is pleased to offer the Philip Langsdale Sloan Scholarship program to international students wishing to earn a master’s degree in leadership and strategy at the university. The winners will be determined on merit bases.

This scholarship is funded through the generosity of the LBS Sloan class of 2004 in memory of Philip Langsdale and was established to attract excellent candidates to the programme. This is only available for overseas students pursuing a Masters degree in the field of Leadership and Strategy at LBS.

- The Scholarship Committee will compile a shortlist of candidates and communicate their
decision in August 2019.

- Self-funded candidates who have applied for the LBS Sloan Masters programme.
- To be considered as a candidate, you must have submitted a completed application for the LBS
Sloan Masters in Leadership and Strategy. - The scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding candidate on the basis of their professional
and leadership achievement, demonstrated by the quality of the essay, a proven track record of
success, and how they will make a contribution to the ongoing success of the LBS Sloan Masters. - Applicants must have passed a bachelor’s degree
- English Language Proficiency Proof:
- A score of IELTS, or
- A score of PTE, or
- English Language Proficiency may be waived for those who have been working in an English-speaking environment for a substantial amount of time or who have studied at degree level in English
- GMAT/GRE scores
- Interview: A decision will be made to invite applicants to interview based on their initial application review
- Applicant must be a self-funding candidate

First Step: you have to summit:
- A one page CV
- An essay of not more than 500 words (please supply the word count).
- The topic of the essay are: “Describe an innovative solution to a worldwide issue
of your choice…”, and “What will be your unique contribution to the Sloan class of
2019 and the London Business School community?”
Second Step: You must submit a video clip of up to 5 minutes
This will help the Committee to get to know you.
- The topic is: Who am I?.
You should upload your video to You Tube at www.youtube.com and send the video directly to the Admissions Team – [email protected]
Make sure the view rights are set to “public”. - *The same video clip can be submitted in support of an application for the 50th Anniversary Scholarship and the LBS Women’s Scholarship.
