- This scholarship is open to all international undergraduate students studying for at least 4 years or more at the University of Aberdeen (excludes Medicine & Dentistry programmes).
- The applicant should be classed as International for the purposes of tuition fees.
- The scholarship cannot be deferred to September 2020, it only applies to eligible students starting in September 2019.

- This scholarship is worth one year’s tuition fee and will be applied in their fourth (final) year of study.
First Step: Apply for the university through UCAS online application, and the 2019 entry application fee is £18 for a single choice, or £24 for more than one choice.
The student is required to provide the following:
– Qualifications.
– Content of written personal statement displaying passion for the subject area, while demonstrating motivation, enthusiasm, and the skills and experiences that will enable you to succeed at university.
– Quality and content of reference.
– Knowledge of and commitment to the subject discipline.
– Good attitude to learning and personal development.
– Ability to articulate yourself fluently and accurately in writing – it is a sign of what’s to come for tutors.
Second Step: After registering, sign in and provide the additional information:
– Funding and sponsorship options, residential status, any special needs or impairments, and any criminal convictions.
– Add your email address – we’ll show you how to verify it with us. Then we’ll be able to let you know whenever your application is updated online, ready for you to sign in and check.
– Plus you can give a parent, guardian, or adviser nominated access if you’d like them to be able to speak to us on your behalf. We’ll be able to discuss your application with them, but for security reasons, we can’t share your login details.
Third Step: The university will tell you if you have been made an offer or been unsuccessful.
Fourth Step: If you have been made an offer by the university, they will help you with the remaining process.
