The Auckland Law School Postgraduate Awards

The Auckland Law School Postgraduate Awards support and encourage academic outstanding students to study a Masters degree at the Auckland Law School.Founded in 1883, Auckland is the country’s largest university with over 40,000 students, nearly 10,000 of whom graduate annually.

Auckland Law School is one of the eight faculties that make up the University of Auckland. The Faculty of Law is located at the City Campus, between Waterloo Quadrant and Eden Crescent. It is in close proximity to the Auckland High Court. In 2020, Auckland Law School ranked 50th in the world and best in New Zealand on QS World University Rankings.The University of Auckland’s Faculty of Law is the largest of its kind in New Zealand. It boasts experts in a variety of fields, including commercial, public, human rights and environmental law.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  1. Applicants are required to enroll in the postgraduate degree program in Laws, Legal Studies and Taxation Studies.
  2. Applicants must be International students.
  3. Applicants must be proficient in English Language.
  4. Applicants must have completed their Undergraduate degree program.

  • Copies of your official university transcripts including the grades of all courses completed. (Successful applicants will be required to provide paper copies of their transcripts before awards are confirmed.)
