We train teaching professionals
This program responds to the need to train qualified professionals in compulsory non-university education, who need to strengthen their language competence and adapt to new social needs and the demands of both public and private bilingual education centers.
The master’s degree includes an educational stay in the United Kingdom, with the aim of delving into an area related to the program’s contents (CLIL materials development, evaluation, special needs and bilingualism, etc.), an essential point for professional development in bilingual environments.
This master’s degree provides the student with an updated training in bilingual education that allows him/her to obtain the linguistic qualification in some autonomous communities. The lessons are taught exclusively in English. It is a bilingual Spanish-English degree.
The contents that respond to the current needs of the teachers who teach through a foreign language: professional performance in bilingual or multilingual educational contexts, new technologies applied to teaching through a foreign language, current methodological trends for teaching of linguistic sub-competences.
It also includes a two-week educational stay abroad, in the United Kingdom, with the aim of delving into an area related to the program’s contents (CLIL materials development, evaluation, special needs and bilingualism, etc.)

The Master’s Degree in Bilingual Education is an official postgraduate degree, recognized by ANECA through a favorable report on 07/29/2011.
The student must take 60 credits.

A copy of the candidate’s Passport
Two recommendation letters
A copy of the candidate’s Academic Transcripts along with his/her Bachelor’s Degree Diploma that should be certified and legalized and submitted along with the respective sworn translations of the aforementioned documents into Spanish
Cover Letter explaining the reasons of the application itself and any future perspectives related to the studies
If the candidate completed his/her Bachelor’s Degree outside the European Higher Education Area, we would need an official letter or certificate (with the respective sworn translation into Spanish) issued by the University of origin stating that the Bachelor’s Degree of the candidate allows him or her to enrol in a Master’s Degree.
