About program
Journalistic innovation in digital environments
The technological revolution has transformed the world of communication and journalism. New ways of developing and consuming information require professionals capable of handling a large number of digital tools and of analyzing a growing volume of information. Proposals as innovative as Data Journalism, 360º projects and Immersive Journalism are being implemented very quickly in the media, thus creating new job opportunities.
Through this program, students master the process of planning, creating and designing content for digital media and learn to be journalists in this field in which press, radio and television converge.
Nebrija University offers the Master’s Degree in Digital and Data Journalism, where the student is taught to be an editor in the field of digital communication, data journalist, editor and manager of online content, entrepreneur of new media and 360º projects, research journalist specialized in data management and visualization, community manager or, among other career opportunities, audience analyst in digital media.
The program has a faculty that is immersed professionally in the digital and data world that, from a practical point of view, will instruct the students in the creation, planning and dissemination of content adapted to the most avant-garde formats.
The collaboration with the Atresmedia Group guarantees training that is closely associated with the professional world and with the needs of the transmedia area. The Master’s degree will have professors who are professionals of the group and will use materials from it. In addition, the agreement with Atresmedia facilitates our students to carry out internships in the group’s various digital areas.
Nebrija University has, on the other hand, numerous collaboration agreements with communication groups, multimedia companies, online areas of audiovisual and journalistic companies and creators of digital content that favor carrying out training internships.
