Today’s organizations are becoming even more dedicated to helping their employees lead healthy lives. Public health departments also rely heavily on education campaigns for disease prevention—from chronic diseases, like diabetes and heart disease, to decreasing the spread of infectious diseases. Our program focuses on the social and psychological foundations of health education.
An undergraduate degree in Health Promotion (HP) provides you with academic and practical training to help improve the health of individual and communities through promoting healthy behaviors, educating target populations, teaching behavior change, and applying environmental strategies.
