About program
Ventspils University of Applied Sciences is a place where you will acquire not only knowledge of different types of translation, but also trends in intercultural communication and the development of modern languages to become a skilled translator.
The strategy of the bachelor’s degree of the Translation English – Russian – German programme at VUAS aims to train qualified interpreters and translators for Latvian state and local government institutions, private economic entities in Latvia, other EU member states and countries outside the EU, and EU institutions after obtaining further qualifications.
