Summer Student Program at JINR research projects in Russia:

The Summer Student Program at JINR will be organized in the form of student research projects in the scientific groups and will last from 4 to 8 weeks during the period from June to October of each calendar year.

The main purpose of the Summer Student Program at JINR is to attract  graduate students on a competitive basis to the Institute scientific groups that implement the main JINR research projects.

The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) is an international intergovernmental organization, a world famous scientific centre that is a unique example of integration of fundamental theoretical and experimental research with development and application of the cutting edge technology and university education.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

Applicant must be one of:

  • Bachelor students finishing their third or fourth year.
  • Master students.
  • PhD students of the 1st year.

Second Step:

Applicant must provide the following documents for apply:

  • Scans of your BS and MS diplomas.
  • The academic record (Transcript).
  • One references letter for sent their recommendation letter.

Note: Reference persons can be university professors that educate the applicants or representatives of scientific organizations from the JINR Member States who know the applicants.

Third Step:

  • Applicant must have chosen the spheres of interest.
