The Muslim Council of Elders’ ‘Summer Course’ – Geneva, Switzerland

The course will focus on training participants in the fields of mediation and peacebuilding, in order to promote peaceful dispute-settlement. It also aims to influence the organizations which employee these participants by providing them with adequate training to achieve the related goals and objectives.

The Muslim Council of Elders is an international organization based in Geneva, Switzerland with its general secretariat located in the Capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi. The Council is opening registrations for its first-ever ‘Summer Course’, aimed at developing young leaders in the fields of mediation and dispute-settlement.

Program Period

9 days.
The program will take place from 10 to 19 August 2020.

Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)

  • Should be Interested in mediation, dispute-settlement and peacebuilding.
  • Must be younger than 35 years of age.
  • Civil servants.
  • Employees of in international organizations.
    Note: Preference will be given to candidates who hold experience in fields such as: mediation, peacebuilding, conflict-resolution and interfaith dialogue.
