The Egyptian Food Bank is a neutral institution specializing in combating hunger through diversity and innovation in creating programs that are effective in addressing the problem of hunger on an ongoing basis within an institutional framework in cooperation with all those who are interested in the hungry on the land of Egypt. His message is to “Provide healthy food for those who deserve it in order to alleviate the suffering of hunger.”
The Egyptian Food Bank, in cooperation with charities throughout the Republic, each of these associations has a database of the names of the cases it serves, and the Egyptian Food Bank first, through the Department of Association Evaluation, selects associations that fit the conditions and standards set by the Egyptian Food Bank (from suitable storage places, humane dealing with cases, etc.) and after the acceptance of the association, the Egyptian Food Bank provides disclosure of the names of the beneficiaries registered in the association.
In turn, the Department of Research and Studies studies cases and conducts field research on a case-by-case basis without causing any embarrassment to the cases, thus accepting cases where the conditions and criteria of the eligible persons established by the Egyptian Food Bank are met.
Finally, it is the role of the management of associations, which coordinates with associations to receive monthly parcels provided by the Egyptian Food Bank for cases already due, and distributes seasonal parcels, whether “Ramadan gift” or sacrificial meat, to registered associations.
